STORE POLICIES
Please read these carefully and let us know if you have any questions.
Cleaning:
- Professional cleaning is included in your hire, and you agree that no attempts will be made to clean, alter, iron/press garment/s (unless otherwise arranged).
- All clothes are professionally steamed before being sent, although they may become wrinkled in transit. Certain materials, on the other hand, are more prone to wrinkles, so if you receive a dress with minor creases, try steaming it on low heat (hang it in the bathroom with a hot shower running to create steam).
- We are not responsible for any health-related issues arising from the use of a product leased from Us. Our goods have been worn by previous customers prior to your rental.
Risk:
- Any additional costs above $20.00 paid by No Strings Dress Hire to rectify, clean, or repair an item will be payable by the customer. If this cost is higher than $50.00, it is available to be paid across 4 weeks.
- In the event an item requires replacement, the customer will be liable for 150% of the RRP. This is available to be paid across 6 weeks.
- If you fail to return a product (it is lost or stolen), then you agree that we charge you for the cost of replacing the product (150% RRP). This is available to be paid across 6 weeks
Payment:
- Payment shall be made in full prior to dispatch/delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We offer cash on delivery, payment online and Afterpay.
Collection of outstanding payments:
- If you do not pay the sums owed to us by the due date, we will send the debt to a collection agency, who will pursue you for payment, including attorney and collection fees.
Cancelation:
You may cancel your rental order subject to the following cancellation fees and policies:
- If you contact us to cancel your order after we have dispatched/delivered your dress, we will issue a credit note minus a booking fee of $25 + the cost of shipping.
- Cancellation fourteen (14) or more days in advance of the delivery date, there is no cancellation fee and you will receive a full refund issued to the payment card you used for the order.
- If you cancel less than fourteen (14) days but more than seven (7) days in advance of the delivery date, you will not receive any refund, but you will receive a credit note for the Hire Fee associated with the cancelled order. This credit can be applied to any future hires placed within 12 months of the cancellation date.
- If you cancel seven (7) or fewer days in advance of the delivery date, you will receive a credit note for the Hire Fee associated with the cancelled order, minus the postage cost and a cancellation fee of $20.00.
- All orders placed using AfterPay will incur an extra $15.00 cancellation fee.
COVID-19 Cancellations:
- If cancellation occurs due to government restrictions, it is unlikely the customer will be entitled to a refund under the Consumer guarantee provisions of the Australian Consumer Law.
- All cancellations due to Covid-19 restrictions are entitled to a full credit note or reschedule of date of hire (subject to availability).
Credit Notes:
- One credit note only can be applied per order. Credit notes have a twelve-month expiry. Orders placed using credit notes are final and cannot be refunded or exchanged for another credit note.
Use of No Strings Bendigo products:
You agree to treat our products like you would your own. You will treat the garment with the utmost of care. You will not attempt to fit into a dress that is too small for you, you will not try and zip up a dress that is too tight and therefore damage the zip. All zips are inspected prior to sending the garment out. Therefore if you damage a zip you will be required to pay for the repair.
Basically, you break it you buy it.
