So, who am I?
Well, i'm Jo.
I am a Bendigo local (and have been here 30 years).
I love our town.
The people. The culture.
The coffee (and food).
The community feel.
It has everything that I (and my family) need.
My full time job (although it never feels like work) is Dress Hire and Styling.
I am a professional (and qualified) stylist with the Australian Style Institute. I am currently finishing my Masters in Styling.
I am a busy Mum of daughters.
I love fashion
(even though i'm normally dressed in activewear)
and participate when I can in Fashions On The Field.
I pride myself on being approachable, and honest
(if it doesn't look great, I won't tell you it does)!

So, why dress hire?
Well.
Just like all of you.
I had so many dresses that has been worn once, hung up, never to be worn again.
I couldn't sell them for anything near what paid (and they did look pretty hanging up).
I also found it so hard to find good, well-fitting dresses in Bendigo.
So ....
(with the little spare time I had)
No Strings Dress Hire was born and now this is what i do for a fulltime career!
What I love about it....
This question is EASY!
Dressing real people, in gorgeous dresses, making them feel beautiful - makes my day.
Helping people step outside of their comfort zone with fashion and trying new things - gets me excited!
There is also no better feeling than when someone comes in that 'just can't find anything for their body' but leaves glowing and confident - ready for their event.
I also love looking at the rainbow of 500+ dresses hanging up in my shop.
Facts about me....
My favourite dress:
This always changes - almost daily!
My favourite coffee place in Bendigo:
This is tricky!
I love a coffee from Forage in Strathfieldsaye.
Iced Latte from Nude Food.
Always open to suggestions though.

Ms Batterhams | Forage
Axedale tavern | Woodhouse | Nude Food and Forage (their chilli scrambled eggs are the best).
Favourite thing to do:
Ride my horses | Get a good night sleep | Laugh with friends | Going to the races
Favourite drink:
Gotta be a Maccas coke, or an Aperol Spritz
(or the Sparkling Shiraz from Balgownie Estate)
